EULAR is delighted to announce that registration is still open for the EULAR Spring Courses 2024, to be held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from Thursday, 11 April 2024 to Saturday, 13 April 2024.

This year again, EULAR offers an extremely comprehensive selection of courses, which you can more about below.

6th EULAR Imaging Course 2024

The EULAR Imaging Course is an intensive, one-and-a-half-day course focusing on different traditional and modern imaging tools, offering a comprehensive education event on the applications, use a limitations of imaging techniques in rheumatology.

Learning objectives:

  • To provide a better understanding of the imaging modalities used for the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment decision-making in RMDs, as part of the basic requirements for daily clinical practise and clinical/translational research.
  • To promote the acquisition of solid knowledge on imaging.
  • To foster education and training of trainees and consultants on imaging modalities.
  • To simulate networking activities during breaks, promoting interactions and ideas exchange about imaging topics.
  • To offer practical workshops for course attendees to actively participate, both discussing clinical cases and images, but also bringing their own material and sharing expertise and knowledge.

7th EULAR Health Economics in Rheumatology Course 2024

The EULAR Health Economics course aim is to present the key principles of health economics applied to rheumatic or musculoskeletal disorders.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand the principles of the economic evaluation of health care innovation, with application to rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
  • To achieve this goal, participants will reach the following specific objectives.
  • To identify the costs and resources involved in a medical intervention.
  • To understand how health benefits and harms are valued for use in economic evaluation.
  • To assess the cost-effectiveness and cost-utility of a medical intervention using model- or trial-based data.
  • To learn the role of different stakeholders in conducting health service research at different phases of economic evaluation until making reimbursement decisions.

7th EULAR Course on Immunology 2024
The EULAR Immunology course is a compact, one-and-a-half-day course on immunology that will cover two major immunology topics from basic knowledge to hot issues in the field, and on the design, interpretation, and analysis of basic or translational research projects. The course is designed to facilitate problem- and case-oriented learning to enhance the interactions among participants and between participants and the faculty.

Learning objectives:

  • The course will raise the knowledge and skills of young rheumatologists and basic researchers working in the field of rheumatology in immunology.
  • The course will be complimentary to the EULAR online course on rheumatic diseases and the EULAR postgraduate course and consolidates the knowledge in immunology in a more practical and interactive way.
  • The course will foster networking and create bonds between the participants to promote future collaborations.
